Re compressor I had a brand New York on the shelf so will use it till it dies. Then swap for a Sanden style. Vintage Air do a York to Sanden conversion bracket so won't need to alter much. The engine owes me about 3k I built it and got most parts from either UK - V8EngineTuner, or D&D fabrications in States. Brought while dollar was strong. And watch when things go on special, like dizzy and inlet manifold. Dizzy cost $250 which was cheap. Inlet manifold a local speed parts shop was clearing excess stock, so $300. And I was in States in 2013 so got carby cam at that time. Way cheaper than here:) the real money is going to be panel and paint their brief is to build it straight strong rust free and good for next twenty years. That's how Long we will need to keep it!:o
