This is going to moulding next week and they will be available soon.
I wish mr
Konradical had contacted me when he had trouble and we would have worked out something wth him to get his fitting better as we will when the new tunnel is complete.
We also now have all the correct materials to make the carpets exactly the same as OEM for the earlier cars.
Cheers Stuart
Stuart,
Good to hear that you are finally getting the later model RRC's underway. Which was what you also told me when I rang you in August last year to ask for your help and instruction on how to make my tunnel carpets fit. Which they eventually did, albeit terribly.
My final concerns were with the front carpets. The mats are different between the pre and post EFI also, not just the tunnel carpets, as the way the seats are mounted are different. Actually, I remember your surprise when I mentioned this whilst talking about the tunnel carpet.
I attempted twice to contact you regarding these front carpets after we spoke about the tunnel carpet and like the other twenty plus times I had tried to call or the ten plus emails I sent over the time from October 17 to the week before I received my carpets in July 18, I received no response - so I simply gave up.
When money allows it, I will be importing a set that will fit from overseas.
With that, I have a set of cab carpets (minus tunnel obviously) in Slate Grey available for pre EFI RRC if anyone is interested.
Good luck Stuart, I really hope you get these carpets sorted, as they are good quality and well made, just not fit for my purpose.
