This tank will fill straight to the top .... no expansion space :( I'm going to have to find out it's capacity and fill it by 3 litres less to give some expansion room rather than letting the bowser drop out. All they had to do was weld in tubes that recessed into the tank say 1/2" and there would have been plenty of expansion space. I don't understand why a tank manufacturer would do this ?

I drilled this out and threaded the fitting in. You know ... it still leaked a lot of air. it's so ovalised from manufacture you would need to drill it out to the point where it's to weak to use to make it "round".

Oh yeah, if your thinking the top of the tank is crowned to provide and expansion space ..... Nope!
