    My neverending re-build

My ongoing project (RRC 73) is a little further progressed, so I thought it time to show people where it is at.
The picture is a little out of date as the roof has been painted, but not yet securely attached.
By the end of next week the inner wings and radiator support panel etc will be in place after blasting and painting this weekend.
People may wonder why I ask seemingly silly questions, but I am trying to make sure every aspect is as it left the factory.

2 door Rangies always look good in white, mine's beige (Sahara Dust) which I don't mind apart from white

Mine isn't original as it has a 4,4 P76 (the engine they should have fitted IMO) and some ARB bar work as well, too many 'roos in Snake Valley so driving it around with no bulbar is too risky

    Looks awesome!

First thing i thought when i saw it was that it looks like a tamiya scale model or something! Everything is so clean!

    It'll look great when done!

    Cheers

Just a set of 205/16 Highway Terrain Bridgestone's, after the effort to have every part blasted and then two coats of KBS Rust Seal and then two coats of KBS satin black top, I don't think it will be going anywhere near an unsealed road!
I have heard complaints about the KBS paints, but I have been spraying it on in a booth after sand blasting and I cannot say enough about how good it is.
The body is done in two coats of KBS rust seal in grey and then two coats of Davos White solid 2 pack, all the inner wings and brackets will be done the same way this weekend.
I will use traditional primers on all the external panels.

Great rebuild and photos, it's what my 81 needs but still in service as my daily drive. Been trying to smarten it up a bit and wheels need a spray. There are so many silvers around and most look very artificial, like the look of yours though. Do you have a specific name for it?

Unfortunately they are the only thing so far which is not original, my painter and I just kept mixing until we found a silver that I liked. So sorry I cannot give a paint code, I am in trouble if I ever have to match the colour again!
Like everything else they were sand blasted and then had two coats of KBS grey rust seal and then two coats of a solid two pack.
