Apparently these motors are waterproof, not sure of the waterproof rating.

On my POS there is about 6" between the rear of the thermo fan shroud and front of the donk without the old fan.
Could rent the space out maybe haha.

Have many put vents on rear of the bonnet top left and right side? This is where I believe most of the heat accumulates at low speed, if so how did you deal with rain?
Wouldn't the best place to exhaust hot air be through the wheel arches .... lots of space there. I can remember many times down in melbourne in my old Citroen CX ... sitting at traffic lights, and the two big 10blade radiator fans will spool onto high speed.... the pedestrians on the footpath all move away from the car due to the hot air being blown out from around the wheels.
Hot air doesn't need to go "up" when you have fans pushing it, it just needs somewhere to exhaust from without too much restriction. I imagine bonnet vents will only help with heat soak once the engine is switched off (as the hot air will rise).

Stick your hand on the top rear corners of the bonnet with engine on, apparently you dont want to mess with the wheel arch covers as they are there for a eeason to direct air to rear and out bottom.
Its a fact that hot air collects in the back corners of the RRC engine bay due to it being at the rear and high and very little exit..it needs to vent at side or top if you want to drive hard on very hot days especially at low speeds
