Different EFI mainly, hot wire system on the '93. Which would be fitted to the engine already in the '93 chassis. You'd possibly have trouble fitting up the filler neck to the '93 chassis using the low filler pipe on the '86 body.

Instrument panel changed in 89/90 when they went from 3.5 to 3.9 with the Hotwire injection
