    How's this old girl....

    Been sitting down the back for over four years. Decanted a caravan bottle of gas into her, and whacked in a battery.....

    Bosch electronic distributor, probably a Bosch starter motor by the sound of it, LPG doesn't collect moisture, sounds about right.

    Yep. Oil light went out right away. The flappy noise is the very loose alternator belt. Now I have to figure out what to do with it...

    This is one of the nice things about those ye olden-dayes engines: the things they'll put up with. What's under the air cleaner?
