Thread: What tyre pressure do you run?

30/36 F/R when i had mine, on 10.5's. I do a lot of dirt roads tho.

Ditto with what Rick says above, however if I am loaded up I might increase them all by 2 psi front and rear.

Noticed a bit of uneven wear on the front tyres and increased pressure to 36 psi all round.
I've been a bit lazy recently and have not checked them as I normally would and they were low in the front.

My usual tyre pressure does hover between 32 - 36 psi nice to see I'm on the money with what others are doing.

I'll monitor them over the coming weeks she unfortunately is not my daily driver (company ute) and I barely cover
6ks in a year.

While I really should get my 81 2 door Rangie on the road I must say that I do enjoy this 92 classic.

Its quieter, rides nicely on its current spring setup (previous owner has removed air suspension) and rather reliable
which for a Rangie is not always spoken of in the same sentence especially with the additional electronics

I have mine on the standard 16x7 three-spoke wheels and new Pirelli Scorpions ATRs.

The tyre guys recommended 40psi which seemed high but I took their advice. I am finding the ride a bit rough so I may try airing down to 36 after having read this thread. Thanks!

Your not the first to be told unusual tyre pressure and 40psi seems high.

Pirelli Scorpions ATR are a nice tyre and I'd like to hear how you go with reduced tyre pressure and how they perform for you.

I just got some new Bridgestone D697 tyres in 245/70 16 size and the tyre guys put them at 32psi, which is quite a bit lower than what I had in the old ones. However, the ride is fine and the tyres look like they should, so we'll see. I made a big mistake by not rotating the old set, which wore out oddly once a Truetrac was in at the front axle. The big problem with tyres is that once you've got the experience with a set to know what you should have done in the first place, it's too late!
