Door lock - key won't turn
Hi All,
I am having an odd problem with the driver's door lock on the car. The central locking itself isn't great but largely works, just needs a couple of tries sometimes to get all doors to lock or unlock.
However, recently the key simply won't turn in the driver's side lock in order to lock the car. It will turn to unlock them but when I try to turn it clockwise it's as if there's a jam. And of course the central locking doesn't work from the passenger side lock so I am currently scrambling over the front seats to actuate the central locking before using the key in the passenger lock.
Before I start dismantling things, has anyone had a similar problem? I did search the threads here but didn't find anything which seemed related. I am wondering whether I need to go in from the outside door handle or have to take the whole door card off.
TIA
Henry

Check the inside door handle has returned to its correct position.
Mine gets caught sometimes as the surround is loose causing a similar issue.
