    Rangerover /Discovery X

Hello ,I've come across this Rangerover Discovery cross for sale on Trade Me auctions NZ.at $22.000.
There was only 9 manufactured and apparently this was the 1st produced.
What are your thoughts on your on this vehicle , it does look in very good condition.leather interior!
I believe there was a fairly large feature on these unique vehicles in an early LRO magazine.

3.5 litre diesel? Wonder what brand? It would be an interesting vehicle to study up close, but $22K is a bit steep for me (even in UnZud dollars!)

update RRC, 88/89 model. main interior is all RRC, but the back seats are the old cloth disco types in pale blue trim.

    Here's the old LRO article.

All these discos are giving me a heart attack!

Depends on how you look at it.
We used to have a non turbo version of that motor in a Ford Trader, that caused no end of trouble.

So when the motor dies, easy enough to hook up a drag bar of some type to move it along
