    sorry guys ... i didn't back to looking for that manual (. my computer dying didn't help!) It looks like you have got the documents now. What I can lookup if anyone else needs anything is the feb 1991 parts manual, and a range rover manual with supplements upto 1991

    An Update

    Hi All,

    Well it's been way too long for an update - I have been busy working on the Perentie & 101 for Corowa & Cooma.. Now that those events are over, it's time to get back onto the Rangie... My daily car has to go in for repairs in a few weeks time, so the pressure is on to get the Rangie on the road...

    First job over the weekend - replace all of the door/bonnet light switches:

    Next job was to clean-up more of the engine bay, before re-fitting the washer bottle. I now know that the vehicle was built in December 89:

    Washer bottle re-fitted (that was fun doing it on my own, but I got there in the end):

    Centre Console repaired - a common repair that I found on you tube, basically you pop rivet in some aluminium to strengthen the front panel of the centre console:

    Also managed to remove the head liner:

    I am trying to work out if I want to "tidy up" the roof while the head liner is out, and try and remove some of the larger hail damage. The options are:

    * Use a hammer and dolly.
    * Use a recent ebay purchase - "hail damage" repair tool... (I have already tried this and to be honest, the results weren't that great)
    * Some surface bog and re-paint the roof

    Not sure what to do yet... Obviously I don't have to repair the roof for registration, but it's one of those jobs that once the head-lining goes back in, deep down I know that I'll never get to..

    I also installed a small plate - rust repair in the drivers foot well, the only rust that I have found so far.

    I also re-installed the passenger side kick panel, instrument binnacle & instrument hood.

    What's left before registration?
    * Get the head-lining recovered & re-installed
    * Power Steering Leak

    What's left after registration?
    * Do something about the roof
    * Replace the passenger side door
    * Look at the air-conditioning

    The pressure is on though - I need this car in a few weeks time. At this point I think that the biggest delay will be the head-lining. I have found a local re-trimmer, let's just hope that he is available.

    Cheers,
    GG.

    Not sure but I don't think the roof unbolts like the earlier models.

    Isn't 89 when they went to a monocoque(sp) body?

    Everything else looks great.

    Aren't those washer bottles a pain to refit? I have to refit mine after rust repairs under it.
