    Preload shims; where to buy

Tr spares in Adelaide have one set of 15 thou and one 45. I need 30 thou. Few other people I've spoken to even know what I'm talking about . Does anyone know a source in Australia, preferably Adelaide?

For the swivels? If so, use 2 x 0.015". The factory used various sizes to get what they needed, often 4-5 shims.
Where to get? All sizes should be available from LR or hunt around for someone who works on old RRCs & D1s - they'll have a box full of the damn things.

There's only one set of 15s available sadly. I've called everyone I can think of and most suppliers don't even know what I'm talking about, which is why I thought I'd ask here

Ok let me rephrase: what do the shims look like. I have bought some for my S3, my Perentie and my 110 civilian recently
I could find out where I got them from if I knew what the shins on a “Rangie Classic” look like.

Same as 110/perentie ones. Series are different.

    Roverparts have them, $1.50 each

I have a couple of tins of shim stock, make what I need on the spot.
It doesn't matter whether you use brass or steel, they both last about the same. I prefer brass only because it doesn't rust.

?? I think the RR ones are smaller?
    Not sure.
If all else fails pm me, I might have a few mixed in with some series ones.
I did have a classic RR once.
