I have finally got my RWC and the Rangie is on club plates, but now the difflock actuator has died again. I am reluctant to replace it with another secondhand one as they seem prone to failure. I have seen mechanical linkages on this site, but am wondering if anyone has tried to use a solenoid to operate the fork as that would mean you could adapt the vacuum switch to an electrical one and still have the interior looking original. Any thoughts or advice welcome.
