    Wipers stopped working

Wipers on my 1986 range rover just stopped working. Can hear the motor doing its thing. Think one of the arms has come free. Do I really have to take the bonnet off and the panel in front of the windscreen to get at it. Is it possible to get at it through the small vents ?

You might be able to see if you take the vents off but much easier if the bonnet and plenum come off , it's not hard to do but best with 2 people.

    fixed

Took the vents out, and could see the main nut on the wiper motor was not tight. Not much room but I managed to get a spanner on it and they are
back working.Gave all the arms and spindles a good soaking with WD40. Did have to muck around to get them to park at the bottom of the screen. All good now.
