I got struts for the boot lid on my commodore from a guy on ebay

Price was good and struts were great and fast shipping.

I have no connection with this guy other than a satisfied customer.

ALSO - have you done the mod that keeps the rear upper shut rather than it open at the most inopportune moments - basically changeover of locating points for struts so becomes close orientated rather than open? I have the instructions I can send if not - needs an email address from you as pics make it too big to post here.

Hey Gavin - reckon you could still find those instructions for the tailgate tweak? diplomatto@gmail.com

Also taking your advice, Kevin Falconbridge to install my Falconworks / Tucson refurbished ABS pump. I'll have him test the accumulator and replace ABS relay at the same time. Only problem is how to get the Rangie to Bentley with no brakes!

Did I tell you Alan at Falconworks is going to print the plastic innards of the ABS pump? Clever clogs was in his hangar at the airport manipulating CAD to this end, the last time I spoke to him.

Yet another matter, I received a quote from Tony at Famous Four for a new accumulator delivered to Kalamunda - GBP168. Is your advice not to accept the quote as the accumulator will get confiscated at customs?

    Cheers in advance,
    Matt

    Hi Matt. Doc emailed.

In RAC? If so they will arrange transport free for a "breakdown" - ask me how I know.

Warn Tony about possible confiscation and pay by PayPal if he's happy to proceed - that way you are covered/will get a refund if confiscated. Alternatively if not in a hurry, can get sent by sea.

I'm hoping DazzaTD5's dad will rebuild my ABS pump so it can be made available for the next needy poor sod.
Will watch Falconworks progress with interest.

    Cheers Gavin
