    Lighter sockets.

    Hi.

I have a 2004 Range Rover Vogue and all the cigarette lighter sockets in the front of the car don't work.

The one in the very back works, all the fuses are OK, briefly checked by an Auto Electrician, and as I need the power to run my Hema map, and charge the phone, I would like some input as to any members that have had a similar experience, or can offer a solution.

    Many thanks, Baz.

    Moved thread to L322.

The socket in the rear loadspace is powered all the time (quite useful). The ones in the front are ignition controlled. They don't work in the accessory (Pos I) position.

What about the one in the cubby box? Or the one behind the cubby box (rear seat passengers' lighter socket)? Do either of those work?

Sounds like a fuse to me. Check the fuse in the rear right fuse box 20A number 71 i think.

if its not that, I'm afraid it might be a long haul finding a fault like that! Get that multimeter out
