    Yes re the gear but the box still functions with this busted - mine has for around 7 years now - it isn’t much fun when cold though that’s for sure and I have a fully rebuilt box to go in when I get around to it, but I have the issue as a legacy from the PO who’s mechanic put gear oil in the box many years ago.

    I forgot to mention here that the 15w40 engine and 75w90 is, as rick130 said, relatively the same viscosity.
    I'm not saying there's a problem using engine oil, the owners manual for my 110 says 20w50 !
    I'm just looking for improvements anywhere possible!
    If I recall correctly, 20L of that hi tech set me back something like $110 here is data sheets attached for the hi-tech 15w40 and 75w90 for those interested.
