RRC LT230 Options behind a TD5
One for the gurus?
Scenario
RRC (95 LSE) with 1999 TD5 and ex Jaguar 4HP24.
Project under development
Want to swap out the "working" BW Viscous coupling for a LT230, but getting more confused each day with the available options/recommendations.
CDL is a given necessity, but do I go for the latest (R?) suffix, or is/are there better choices. Want to retain Disco gearing, not go to Defender ratio.
Bessie is these days mainly a highway tourer and/or towtug, but enjoys a wee play in the sand etc every now and again. Definitely not a concours version.
Why Bessie? - She has a turning circle like the Queen Elizabeth, and was named by the PO, so who am I to rename her after all of his mods.
