Suggest that you look at the pressure limiting valve also, as They can sometimes accumulate gunk.

Mine is working fine............. had plenty of fluid through it over several bleeds in recent years and it still wears on the outside rear pads faster than the inners.

I know what causes it, same as LC, but I just swap the pads in each caliper from time to time like rotating tyres.

    thanks, DL

Westy has inspired me............... headliner is out for re-covering.

Have had to rebuild the rear end of the backing and fix various splits and delamination, pics will be coming.

It looks like the poms laminated the backing with paper and badger hair all held together with tea mixed with sour milk or something similar. There were bits of ply used as reinforcement at the back.

I know the later ones are GRP.

Well I've probably got the only AU RRC with the 3 amigos.

Chivalry in Bunbury has got my EAS working properly again (a brilliant effort), but after changing out the TD5 XYZ switch as a preventative maintenance item, the mexicans have arrived to keep him company.

The outstandings list doesn't seem to be getting any smaller - just some different items arising each time we have a win!
MY16 D4 TDV6 - with a little Cambo magic for towing "The Brick"
MY95 RRC LSE Vogue Softdash "Bessie" (turning circle comparable to QE II) with MY99 TD5 and 4HP24 transplants. Back home Nov 22 after a magic overhaul by Chivalry
SADLY SOLD MY04 D2a TD5 auto Classic and MY10 D4 2.7 both with lots of goodies

By contrast, the onlything happening to the RRC today is it is getting rained on.

    Some headliner pics:

    HL1.jpg

Back end is totally stuffed. Interesting the poms used strips of plywood to reinforce the rear. The way these were made is appalling.

    HL2.jpg

Remade the back end in ply and glass, needed glass along the sides, all corners of the front and rear sections and 8 litres of acrylic concrete sealer to stabilise the 'felt' underneath. Couldn't get the felt perfectly smooth.

The trimmer I went to did a good job with what he had to work with and hopefully I won't have to do this again.

Had a note in an envelope left in my letterbox asking if I wanted to sell it.

I'll put it with all the others in the glove box and move the POS out of sight.
