Pending the Bosch module is ok and wired correctly, check pickup in dissy, it's air gap, have had the wiring break inside the dissy.

There is a relay that works in conjunction with the vac dashpot on manifold to cuts spark on overrun down to around 1500 rpm from memory, apparently give problems and get bypassed. Mine was working ok with no issues, so never had the need to play with it.
There is a manifold mounted valve that uses manifold heat for extra air during cold starts.... could have something to of with cold start running issues.
Efi coolant temp sensor, air flow meter, injector resistor pack....lots of thing that can give running/starting issues.
