I have checked out the shims, yep I found them and can't work out why I didn't think of them earlier, I have been mucking around with these RRC's for years and thought I had a good basic knowledge of what goes with them.
Sometimes it can be a case of the more you learn the less you know[bigwhistle].

You'll need an old fashioned impact driver (with a hammer) to loosen the hinge screws.

Can post a pic if you don't know what I mean.
