That will be a stroker crank in a 3.9, not a factory option.
Hi, I am looking at a classic 1988 Rangie with a 4.2 v8 option. I didn’t think a 4.2 was in such early models?
thanks

Correct me if i am wrong but it may be a Vitesse Model
They did performance & body upgrades back then.
Just out of interest does it have some sort of headlight protectors.

Nanocom, D2 TD5 only.
Would have to be an import as 4.2 was never submitted for ADR in Australia.
Be careful with a 3.5 or 3.9 stroker.
I remember Graeme Cooper discontinued offering them due to slipping sleeves. Even though the sleeves were not touched apparently the extra stroke put more pressure on them.
If has top hats fitted then OK.
