Body and paint look good Inc. Nice pick up - should go for a long time with those low clicks.
things always look better in jpg's :p
it's a bit untidy in places and needs a lot of little things done get it up to scratch.
just getting the bottom tailgate to open would be a nice start :p
bonnet and roof are pretty sad...
needs a new fuel pump which i have ordered ...
would like to put a 4bd1 in it eventually
but will see what comes our way.
I brought my new RRC home :)
It is a 1986 with a 3.9 V8 engine, manual gearbox, transfer case and front dif from a Disco.
It is a dual fuel.
Runs very nice, seats are clean and without damage.
Paint condition ............:(
It is nice to go back to a RRC after having one before and found how much better it is for us than our old 1998 Tdi300 Disco.

I'm using industrial AV (antivibration) mounts. These are round 70-75mm diameter and 38mm thick with a M10 stud centred on each side. Essentially a steel plate bonded to a rubber core.
They are a straight swap for the stock rover mount pucks used at engine and transfer, but much softer.
In the front mine is using these on the original V8 chassis mounts with brackets to the engine. But the angle on these isn't ideal for the weight of the Isuzu or the vibration directions of a 4 cyl. So I plan to remake them at about 50 degrees from vertical (40 degrees from Horizontal) while still using the same AV mounts.
And just get yourself a factory T motor, much quieter/smoother :)
Nice looking project
