    A long time ago this part of the thread, however.

    If there is a problem in how close a 4.4 starter gets to the front driveshaft on a RRc. Source a front driveshaft off a 1985 Torqueflyte-727 auto, they were a solid bar instead of a steel tube and therefore you get a little more clearance between the shaft and the starter.

    p76 engine bits

    Made for the p76, also solenoid location can be rotated 360 degrees

    thought I'd share. I only stumbled upon the website. google only brought me to this thread.

    also I found Land Rover Parts - Home helpful with my p76engine rebuild. Valley gasket, bearings, seals etc that I couldn't get from local parts shops.
