Fitting a Thomas Winch to a Rangie?
Hi Guy's,
I have picked up my Thomas winch finally.
Has anyone fitted one to a Classic Rangie?
I have it sitting in place (it came with all the mounting brackets) and it sits forward alot.
It looks like I can cut about 60mm off the back of the brackets to move it in towards the truck more.
The only problem could be the winch gearbox sitting low on the right hand side, this has the drive attachment.
The bracket sit's on the chassis front rails hard back to the first cross member by the radiator, the drive has to come from the gearbox which if you lift the winch up to high you wont be able to attach the drive too.
Approach angle is my worry with it sitting out so far and so low!!
I am going to do a 2 inch body lift aswell, I have the kit coming down from the states.
Any Info would help
Cheers
Brett
