Has anyone gone over 29" and not had to cut the guards or install a lift kit?
I already run 225/75 R16 on my 1985 RRc which is 29.3" and was wondering if there was anything a little larger I could run without cutting or lifting anything.

No spoiler, a regular Phase 2 Hi-Line RRc with uprated rear coils and Defender xtreme alloys from the late 1990's as in the attached pic (not mine though)

Or that actual car about 6 years ago.

When i first got my rangie i was running 265/70/16's on D1 steel rims with no lift and no guard cutting, just wound the steering lock stops out a bit.
I'm running 7.50R16s (about 31"s) with standard spec suspension / no lift kit / no cutting / standard RR wheels.
The front edges of the rear wheel arches have been dressed (folded over the sharp flange) but that's all.
It rubs slightly at times on extreme articulation but that's easy to live with.
I am selling some Range Rover vogue alloy rims--see markets
