me too. But I'd be forced to repaint it.
nar nar nar nar.... speeeed stripes :D
that 6x rangie complete with ladders to get in looked awesome. Wish i could have taken that to my formal.
Agreed Vlad - bl**dy awful colour scheme.
Rangies, with or without a roof, always look best in Black or British Racing Green, although I don't mind that burgundy colour either.
What is the deal with white cars? 3 out of 4 LandCruisers, Patrols and Pajeros are white, and way too many Defenders.
just my 20 cents...
/sidetrack mode engaged
White doesn't show scratches from Lantana or other branches as ALL other colours do.
Theoretically it also reflects more heat.
Both very good reasons HOWEVER it certainly would be nice to have a choice !
/return to main track mode engaged.
There is a guy down the road driving one, looks bloody ugly, but it's hard not to look and appreciate the work involved. I'm not posting a picture on an open forum without his permission, I will ask next time I see the owner driving it.
Fair enuff dobbo but surely a blacked out number plate would be ok ? Imagine if we had to seek the permission of the owners of everything we wanted to take/publish a photo of.
Wood and Pickett used to do them.
I recall one in Riyadh with a Rolls Royce Grill grafted on the front and painted Rolls Gold with palamino roof etc.
It was a cack!!!

Very true, best looking rangie I've ever seen was british racing green with gold pin stripes.
Black looks great if you've got perfect panels and the time to keep it clean.
So I have a white one, hit it with the water-blaster and it comes out looking good every time.:)

However i reckon a better idea is a full length Webasto fabric sunroof
I saw a car with one at Willougby , for sale with hail damage several years ago.
The Upholsterer on Harbord road near the Pittwater Rd intersection at Dee Why reckons he has the makings of a Webasto roof , but would charge $3000 to do one.
