Prince of Darkness made bullet connector to fuel pump go open circuit. Not obviously visible, however. Replaced connectors on the pump and harness and off we went. Others with computers in their vehicles were amazed!

That looks a nice example of an original 2 Door you have there. Not to many left so don't let anyone talk you into bastardising it as my self and many others have done in the past

Yup, it is a good example of an original 2 door. In good nick too!. Almost no rust. Just replaced the upper tailgate with an alloy one. Now even less rust!

Would love to swap out the 3 speed auto for a 5 speed manual. Does that qualify as bastardisation?

When I got her, I replaced ALL the connectors I could find, both under and in the car. Cut off every bullet and replaced them. All soldered!! Took several weekends but now no electrical probs.

This, however, angered the Prince and he made the starter solenoid go intermittent, so this weekend under again and clean and replace wiring to avoid solenoid replacement.

The never ending battle against the forces of darkness.
