a wreck of what?
cheers
I am looking at buying a 93 Range Rover Vogue wreck from auction tomorrow in which both front A pillars have been cut. Are these items that are bolted in, are they are welded part of the firewall, or a welded part of subframe? I hope someone can give me an answer to this soon so I can make up my mind if I am travelling to brisbane for the auction.
Thanks in Advance
Craig

I've edited the Post... it is a 93 range rover vogue.
Thanks
Craig
It will be weldedI'm fairly sure the last mecarno style rangie was late 84 or may be when concealed hinges came in. It was possible to remove bulkhead ,ABC&D pillars and tail gate frame on the early girls.
You will have to re body it if its that bad. Or use as spares.
Thanks for that... in that case I think I will just let it go... if the pillars wern't cut it would have been a good buy.
ManheimFowles - Vehicle Details - Salvage is the url of what I was looking at.
Would be repairable if you had another 90 ish Rangie with a stuffed drive line and poor interior and a few damaged panels on the left side.
It may be possible to graft another pillar in but looks like its had a fair hit up high so may be a few misalignment issues of B pillars as the top of these things twist very easily once the glass is gone. Wonder if they cut the pillar because the door would not open? If so the bulkhead may be back a bit and the RH front inner guard may be a toss as well.
Be a big job to swap it all out.
How do they call that repairableRecyclable may fit the picture better.

Id think it will be likely a parts recycler will buy it as would have at least 6K in parts at their prices.
