indicators not working
I have an 88 rangie hiline and recently my indicators decided they don't want to work anymore. I have taken the stalk appart and it doesn't appear burnt out or anything. Ive also hooked up the flasher unit to a power supply and it clicks ( it's a 4 pin hella type) Ive also checked the fuses. does anyone have any othe suggestions or does anyone know which pins are meant to do what on the indicator stalks. Thid is really frustrating me.
cheers adrian

In the absence of a workshop manual for the 88 RRC, the standard colours are dark green with white stripe and dk green with red stripe for the output from the stalk to the respective blinkers, and light green with a brown stripe as the input from the blinker can. The input should be live when the ignition is on. Further, if your hazards work, that doesn't mean much as it's on virtually separate circuit with it's own blinker can.
