Changing stud pattern - classic RR hubs - D2 Hubs

Has anyone ever thought about swapping D2 hubs onto a classic RR to be able to get a larger selection of wheels, i have never looked at D2 or P38A hubs so i don't even know if it is possible

They are not interchangeable - the bearing set up is completely different.

you may as well start by getting complete diffs, hub to hub, as there are lots of differences - you cannot plug and play.

You can get a spacer from the UK that has Early Paten to bolt on to hub with D2 paten on the outer section ! May be an option to achieve what you want !

U can get the Adaptors easy enough. As I am currently lying in bed and using my iPhone, can't get the link from my puta, but do a search on "RAKEWAY WHEEL ADAPTORS" on Google.

    Cheers

I don' like wheelspacers/adaptors despite them being illegal anyway, and yeah i was talking about alloys but i'm not that concerned i was just wondering, a front diff would be a swap over job but not so with the rear completly different link setup, how to the bearings differ do they not use full floating on D2's?

You wont find the front to be bolt in either. Likewise the links are different. Some basic design, but different execution. The brakes are 4 channel also.

The axles are all semi-floating, but the diff centres are all still Rover. I'm pretty sure the D2 axle is a lot wider than a D1/RRC axle also, so you will broaden things out.
