Guys,
I will be making up a set or cranked trailing arms to suit the lift thats going into my RRC. Are the EAS trailing arms a better options that the plain old Coil sprung arms?
I have a set of both and from the outside looking in the coil arms appearto be stronger than the eas arms,
What's peoples thoughts?

I'm no expert ... But since you insisted
I have both ... A 1990 with the thin rods which appears to be solid steel
and a 1993 with the thicker diameter which appears to be hollow tube
Both bend when striking a rock
I havn't bent the thin rod on the 90 yet, and I have flexed it to the max on sand and rock
But your gonna reinforce which ever your got handy.... so ... Weld away

Hi Lucus,
Why crank the arms? Just get a set of angled rubber bushes from Les Richmond. I have about 3" lift in the rear of my POS RRC with some angled poly bushes that are still good after about 200k kms.
cheers, DL
DL,
Im considering cranked arms as i have a couple of spares sets and a new set of deflex bushes i would like to fit so i would like to avoid buying another set of bushes.
cheers for the input, this may still work out to be a better solution

If you're after strength and 'legality' then sleeve the arms as Vern has posted many times and go the angled bushes.
cheers, DL
