OK just got the "heads up" from Rangie Automotive that the 4.6 engine install is finished and drivable.

Bar mods are finished(rear bar lift was a mission apparently) just a few more things to go.

Will get pics posted up tomorrow

We are having trouble finding a replacement center console in time for this project(LRA are waiting for a batch)

    Are there any alternative's?
Anyone got pics of a sweet replacement?(with cup holders maybe)

Front ARB bar modded to fit winch, will be wired to new dual batteries in the next day or two.

Rear ARB bar added and modified/lifted to suit 2.5'body lift (wheel carrier will be fitted tomorrow)
note:checker-plate has not been bolted down so looks a little wonky in pic. Will get better pic when wheel carrier goes on

LRA Snorkel and a few other things go on tomorrow.
    Its all coming together

Kurmit thinks the whole project should be ready this time next week

That winch appears to be only grafted into the bar. Will it be strong enough like that?
Look into the wheel carrier as I seen some that flex to much.

Your making great progress with it now

I need to do a fair bit to catch up now May have to put twin snorkels and Rangie sport guard vents in to make mine a bit different

I think you will get a lot of satifaction with this thing of yours when done. Will look and go very well

Kurmit has assured me that the inside has been reinforced with thick plate metal and so on,and he has raced a rangie with a setup just like mine but with a much more powerful winch, so I'm sure it will be fine .
He says thats how they do it all the time now because most rangies have the non winch bar already, they just mod them to suit, problem solved.

Rear swing away will be an LRA item from memory.

Adrian must be your new best friend with all that work. And yes those arb bars would be a right royal PITA to modify to suit the body lift.

ha ha,nice. Only problem is he's got no time for best friends, tons of work on, he's in the process of moving Rangie Automotive to new premises and on top of that he's getting married in a few weeks(good on him). Hectic tho!

I must say i am extremely happy with the overall look of the rear bar/wheel carrier given the 2.5 inch body lift!
