Change to fine spline?
Just checking when the change was in RRC's to fine spline.
From memory it was not an exact date as per typical Land Rover but from 89 onwards with the VC springs to mind.
Can anyone confirm that as my mate wants to know what he has and as he is doing a Isuzu upgrade likes to keep a spare.

I have an 89 RR, and it still has the ten spline axles.
Get your mate to look at the axle ends on the rear: Rounded is ten spline, flat is 23.

93 from memory. Naturally the dif, stub axles and CV are different. The Radius arms may be slightly wider as well,(or is that just the 110 and D1) you may get away with the older radius arms and a big bloody washer.

If it's got ABS, it's gotta have the later style axles.
However, I've seen photos of later style axles (look like 24 spline from the outside) which have 10 spline diffs in them.
So you probably can't guarantee anything from the outside.
