Has ARB sort out my RFSV’s air compressor, needed new lines and connections, sorted out an air leak as well. Drained the drivers side (main tank) fuel sedimenter, a bit of crud but a lot of water.
Put on new rear mudflats, popped some Lucas Anti Gel into the tanks for those cold mornings and bought a litre of Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant to give it a try.
I got a new LHS wing mirror thanks to KLR - Previous one had a chat with a tree and the tree won... Due for rego today but with lock down it can sit for a few weekes
oh the heresy of the naysayer...

Picked it up yesterday and this morning I gazed upon it with my eyes.
Baz.
Enough gazing, time for an update;
Passed rego, mechanic said it was good to finally get a Perentie that passed first time for a change, next day new shocks, new headlight switch and hub seal kits ordered, lucky I did as the right rear hub started leaking and the day after the headlight switch and front right shock failed coming home from a day drive.
Shocks are in, I snapped a stud off the ring retainer, got a new one and replaced it, got Recovery Shocks, Made in Australia apparently, by who I have no idea, seem to work well after a drive around the farm, battery light came on yesterday.
Just finished trying to figure what it was, turns out I have accidently pulled a wire out from the plug in the back of the alternator when working on the car, it's the field excitation plug, I've done a temporary fix till I can get an auto elec to look at it

Had the rear shockers replaced as knackered, Terrafirma long travel 2” pro sport. Big change to be honest, considering terra’s on the front now. Also front driveshaft universal replaced.
If you go Terrafirma front shocks I went with big bore expedition shocks with Terrafirma heavy load coils (both +2" ) due to the weight of the Isuzu engine.
The rears I have the Sport Pro (+2) but havent worked out what coils I want to use yet as the Perentie rear end is really light but I still want reasonable load carrying.
