Will the Big Bore fit with the standard Perentie coils?
Yes the big bores come in std height.
TF130 - defender big bore rear shocks std.

*While I have no doubt there are plenty of better suspension around, I've generally found the Terrafirma to be good value for money.
*Most and more of it is made in Thailand which I have no problem with as it seems to last the distance.
*I've had 2 rear leaking shocks and one that broke the top eye, out of prolly 100 or so sets over the years.
*Freight cost from the U.K for complete kits though is insane since cov

*As I said before I've not nutted out a good coil for the rear of a Perentie, the std original ones I dont really think were designed for any reasonable load, throw a couple of gearboxes or some firewood and its dragging its arse a bit.
    Regards
    Daz

    Hi Dazza,
Went with your suggestion a got the front fitted with Terrafirma Big Bore Expedition 2”, feels good so far. Just drove 1700 Kms from near Melbourne to Ipswich Queensland and the truck didn’t miss a beat, suspension was fine, much improved on before, thanks!

    Hi All,

Gave the RFSV a couple of long awaited Christmas presents with a LED headlight conversion and also a water proofing of the original canvas.

Very happy with the performance of the LED headlights and the canvas beads water again! Hopefully a drier ride this winter than in 2021.

    Regards Warrick.

    G’day Warwick,

Looks great, did you use anything to clean the canvas before applying?

    regards,

    Greg

    Hi Greg,

I just washed the canvas with water and used a broom to remove any marks or dirt that didn't move with water.

It came up pretty clean before I applied the water proofing. You could probably use a light detergent and then hose off well.

Ultimately a new canvas will be the next purchase but I hope to get a bit more life out of this canvas before that. I will see how it performs this winter.

I can't really complain though as the canvas on my RFSV is the same one that I have had since I purchased the vehicle from Frontline in 2014.

I am not sure what the average lifespan of a Robco Canvas is but mine must be coming up to 10 years at least.

    Regards Warrick.
