6x6 door locks - help!

Can you lock the passenger door when it's open and you're pressing the door opening button in and holding it? If so, it is working fine. The driver's side door latch sounds like it's stuffed. I've had similar and the only solution was a replacement latch, though you can try adjusting the linkages and lubricating first.

Thanks, yeah that works so i guess the passenger side is fine!
By adjusting the linkages, do you mean trying to bend or straighten them a little?

Yes, just generally check that they are engaged properly at each end and that they are straight. Unlikely to be the problem, but worth a try.
