    Pinion flange wont go on

Having problems getting my new pinion flange on. Ive heated it and it still wont go past half way. Ive even tried putting the nut on to pull it up but it takes a lot of force.
    Can anyone shed some light?

There are 2 types of pinion flange, if you check out this picture, you can see that some have a spacer ring, and some dont (ignoring the 3/4 bolt patterns).

You don't have a spacer ring still in there do you? Other than that they should just slide on.

Nah no spacer. New and old flange are exactly the same apart from a larger mud slinger on the new flange

Managed to get it on. It was tight even when heated. Had to use the old nut as well because the new one was binding badly half way. I'll never buy britpart again
