    Perentie springs

    Hi all ,
Just wanted to know , What's the standard Spring height for a ffr perentie with a winch supposed to be ? If using the Gwyn Lewis measurement ?

mine is 280-285 mm front 350 rear , I think I may need new front springs .....but not sure ?

If so, Dose anyone have some advice on best front springs to suit the standard rear springs .
    thanks

I think mine was about 300, so yeah you may need new front springs. That is a large difference front too back!

Will a standard county flex better that a perentie ? If so... By much ?
I took my perentie off road In a bit rougher terrain the other day ( haven't had it long ) . And wow it's firm , I like it on the main roads But off road with no load at all.....not so much ,
In rocky terrain it felt way to stiff to flex , Mind you .. I didn't get out and have a look either , so I could be wrong.?

how many people have both a perentie and a county , Which one is your preference suspenssion wise On and off-road ?

Would the perentie suffer with the same Spring rate as an Isuzu county .
Not having a sway bar and all that bar work and a pto winch It may Bea bit heavier ?, What is the Isuzu county Spring rate ?

Just in the process of choosing some springs .
    thanks all

County spring rates were softer and give better articulation, at least partly because, LR fitted a self levelling unit to the A-frame.

The Perentie and Defenders didn’t have this.
