So I arrived at my very remote and distant office today (a 100 foot fire tower).

While doing my usual quick walk around, I noticed I had lost a hub cap and was spewing one-shot grease out the stub axle.

About 12 months back I had the axle replaced as the old one shattered inside the spider gears despite my attempts to treat the vehicle gently.

During preventative maintenance 6 months ago I topped up the one shot grease in The swivel housing as it seemed lower than the rest.

I suspect that i had overfilled the housing and as I only recently have been putting serious miles on it, that the grease got hot and blew the cap off.

I had several new spares on board and replaced it, but I'm concerned that I may have a wheel bearing full of one-shot now.

I will check later to see if the new cap is again filling up.

Ideas/suggestions/advice?

Also had to renew my subscription too. Appears it had lapsed without my knowledge.

I have photos, but the mobile app says the upload has failled.
