    I use Penrite.

    This is what they recommend:
Penrite product selector | Penrite Oil

    I use this:
HPR DIESEL 20W-60 (Mineral) | Penrite Oil
The reason being it states "is recommended for use in vehicles where SAE 30, SAE 20W-50 or SAE 20W-60 grade oils were originally recommended".
The army documentation list OMD-115 oil. OMD-115 is a SAE30 oil.

I use this in the gearbox and transfer case:
    HPR 30 20W-60 (Mineral) | Penrite Oil

Interestingly, Penrite also list the 101.

    Waay too heavy Mick.

Stick with an xW-40 unless the engine is really tired and fumey.
Too much drag with a 20w-60 for no extra protection.

OMD-115 is the cheapest stuff the army could find that will keep it going.
Look back to what Isuzu recommend. They designed it!

I've always used RX Super but local truck place no longer stocks it -has been replaced with RX Plus which apparently same thing.

RX Super (In a 110, but same engine)

Buy it by the 20l drum, run it in the tractor as well. Don't like the plastic drums we get these days!

Same. I would buy RX Super by 20lt. But Penrite and Shell get a good wrap.
