I reckon they are both reasonably comfortable if they are in good condition. Have seen some stuffed ones.

They were suprisingly comfortable on the trip home to Melb from Syd. At 6'3 I also found the seating position to be just fine ( arm out the window to stretch out sometimes but otherwise just fantastic. And the supposed candle lights worked great in high or low beam.

    Gday
I took a seat to a trimmer with some auscam light canvas and got them made. The trimmer did a good job.

The centre box is a standard County box, but raised a little. It sits on a ply box I made which provides some storage, attached with a hinge. This space is accessed by tilting the top box back, using the hinge.
