Perentie FFR how to have locked fuel cap?

Hi all, the paranoid side of my mind says that an unlocked foot locker I mean fuel cap is no good and I have been looking for some way to secure it. The caps I tried will not lock as there is no lip for the tabs to catch on the inside of the fuel neck. This is also something I have been a little concerned about regarding the bonnet being able to be lifted by anyone walking past. I have had a search for info but have been unable to find any solid answers. I'm thinking I might have to get something made up. Any ideas? Cheers Auslizard.

Ive thought about a tempered fold over hinge with lock, as I am concerned about the same thing, but haven't yet done anything about it. Will be very interested in seeing what materializes from this community in response. I'm also keen to see if anyone is using pins and holes on jerry can lids with locks to bolt and secure those (always believed if one is to have spare fuel, one should make sure of its security) after not finding a product that has such a lock incorporated, I think I can easily solve that one but the fuel tank is another matter without some riveting anf thorough forethought

There are key lockable fuel caps available. I have 2 at home that I had on my 6x6 and took them off. I will get a photo up later in the week. From memory they are about $80 each.

That’s what I did. I have a habit of losing caps. The series ones were lots cheaper.
