the hoops you're looking at might be looking at the fuel tank breather tube loops.
easy to remove and reinstall.
Ok so after reading posts and looking around I have picked myself up an RFSV. I would like to remove at least one of the toolboxes in the cargo area for a little extra room but it looks to be held in by a lot of rivets. Has anyone removed theirs and have a few pointers? The other challenge is getting the framework from behind the 2 front seats out as well (it looks as if the toolboxes are welded to these frames. There is a small hoop behind each seat, what’s it for? Looks like copper pipe that loops up from under the vehicle. The framework goes through the hoops so won’t be easy to get around.

Thanks Blknight. That’s probably them.
I’ll have a better look at everything when time permits.
I have removed the rhs toolbox and rhs inside jerry carrier to get a bit more internal space. You'll find that there is a lot of extra sheet metal (double skin) towards the front and some careful judicious cuts through the top skin of this double panel at the front of the jerry carriers will make removal a lot simpler. I have kept the lhs box on board where it provides a secure large lockable space.
I also removed the rear seat mounts and ammo can carriers from the floor. I have sheeted over the floor gap at the seatbox level with formply and boat carpet to provide a covered storage well and dog/swag space.
I also removed the rear seat. How heavy is that thing? I will have a look on the weekend to remove the toolboxes with minimal cuts so I can slip them back in should the need arise.
Thanks for the advice so far guys.
