    Fattima joins the fold

Looks like we have a new member of the family.
    Perentie.jpg

Picked up this beast last night and very happy with it so far. ARN 50-421 FFR, looks like an ex RFADD unit from Cairns.
It has power steering fitted and the gear box is a short throw one this makes for a great shift. Has been modified to a GS tailgate, I prefer this so was happy to have that done. Has the logs books and the seller had his service records so I know it has been looked after.
Needs a couple of things fixed, transfer box to gearbox seal is leaking and the brake master is weeping (already ordered an XD Falcon unit), wipers are not going back to their lower position properly. Big thanks to everyone here for their advice and big thanks to Blknight for his advice and running me through a few things, very much appreciated!

    Congrats on getting your FFR.

Our family has 4 FFR dependents; 50-257, 50-203, and 50-169, and 48-975. 50-169 and 48-975 are ex-Timor and 48-975 is an RFADD too. We do Corowa... vid YouTube

You mentioned the short throw... via a gearstick shortening mod or what? More info please.

It has a shorter throw than the Perenties I've driven. I'm no expert but have heard the later boxes were like this? Anyeay it is the best shifting one I've driven.
