Well,I have gone and done it.

Yup, bought a Perentie,The Mangement is not happy, but I said it was a Perentie,or a Can-Am so she said at least a Perentie has 4 wheels,I did not say they came as a 6x6,so I am the proud owner of 48-187,it came from Thurgoona NSW, speedo reading 157,948-plus klms driven up from NSW to Godwin Beach
bought through "No Limits 4x4" as their workshop is just down the road,it is currently minus a canopy, but I have 1 in my shed, being out of NSW it has strange things like the front lifting rings cut off and the rear lifting rings welded up but I am hoping to be able to source these at a future date, so in the coming months I will gradually get it up to original condition

But at the moment I stuck in bed with a stinking head cold

Perentie or Can-Am - pick one. I love your logic!

To keep the "management" happy I bought the Perentie, it is just a standard GS.and quite a clean unit,so over the coming months I will get it up to scratch

Good on yer, Uncle. You needed to do something with the 44 of Monashes buried under the garage. Can't have too many toys. Best to only answer management questions when asked. Never volunteer information. Need to know principle when dealing with other halves.

Now some photos are required. Nothing happened without photos.
