    No names, no pack drill, but what would the legal liability be on this mod??

    Mate here in Bundy went down the path to get his hitch engineered. Not a difficult thing to do.

    I'm not an engineer, but have had one towbar nearly tear off a County & to my mind the leverage on this is similar, & unless the female square section extends through & is further welded, this will fail too.

    for openers, where its welded onto the rear member is an issue unless its also got the extensions that run up to the inside edge of the longitudinal rails and we cant see them.
