RIP Bucko - Riding on Forever
The only guy to give advice was Brian from Mackay and he said that even the hazard lights worked .They would be problem as it is a known problem. He was correct new switch every works MANY thanks Brian
Well the new switch lasted 100 K s then failed ,so I have put a jump wire between 2 terminals and now the blinkers work and so does the hazard lights. We shall see how this goes
As Brian has said the cheap ones fail very quick if not instantly.
The Lucas or Lucas Classic parts are made in Taiwan and are good quality.
If it isnt the hazard switch, look at the indicator assembly, again the cheap ones will break the 2 little claws that hold it to the metal bracket or melt the terminals.
(as a side note: Lucas is owned by ZF and have rebranded it as Lucas Classic parts.)
