    turn signal

    I am on a trip ,out west in my perentie and lost the turn signal indicators , could some one give me the wire colors and what they do , I seem to have only one power coming into the quick disconnect and it is for the horn , the hazard lights still work and there is power to the fuse ?? seeing Iam out west could you ring peter on 0476798153

    Turn signal

    The only guy to give advice was Brian from Mackay and he said that even the hazard lights worked .They would be problem as it is a known problem.He was correct new switch every works MANY thanks Brian

    Turn signal

    Well the new switch lasted 100 K s then failed ,so I have put a jump wire between 2 terminals and now the blinkers work and so does the hazard lights. We shall see how this goes

    Bugger. What brand was the new hazard switch. The only ones to get are the genuine "Lucas" ones. I have seen an aftermarket one that was faulty even before fitting.

    As Brian has said the cheap ones fail very quick if not instantly.

    The Lucas or Lucas Classic parts are made in Taiwan and are good quality.
    If it isnt the hazard switch, look at the indicator assembly, again the cheap ones will break the 2 little claws that hold it to the metal bracket or melt the terminals.

    (as a side note: Lucas is owned by ZF and have rebranded it as Lucas Classic parts.)

    Blinkers

    Bugger now the relay has failed ,it did begin to click very quickly before failing Hope someone inTownsville will have a compatible unit tomorrow

    Well working again Get your pencil out
    The original part PRC8876 is $50 + 20 post
    The narava 68254bl is $80 at Repco
    The Trident FET 16 is $ 80 at part stores
    It is also fitted a few Alfa and Holden Berena
