leaky power steering box on RFSV

I have developed an oil leak on my RFSV power steering box. The question is do I just do the seals or as has been suggested to me "dont waste your time and replace the whole box"
What does the brains trust think?

Depends oh how bad and where the leak is coming from. Sector shaft seals are relatively easy to do and can be done with the box still in the vehicle but leaks from anywhere else requires the box to be removed to fix.

When I did my ‘86 RRC output shaft seal, I was able to get slightly smaller seals that were designed for fixing this problem.

Getting the droparm off was difficult. I hired an hydraulic puller and even that struggled. When it broke free, it came off in a rush. Fortunately, I had left the nut on to cover that eventuality.
