Also if you want a larger load just use the baby relay to drive the coil on a larger relay.

sorry maca but that circuit is just going to make the latching relay into an oscilator. while you hold the momentry on the relay is just going to chatter and you wont know where its going to stop. I personally think you are better off doing it with 2 push on/off buttons with the seperate illumination circut in them and doing this.

by running the earth of the relay through the reversing lights when you goto reverse if youve left the lights on they will turn off, if your planning on using the work lights as a reversing light you can drop the whole relay out and just run the output of the switches to your lights OR keep the relay but run the coil side to earth instead of the reversing lights. the lines from the bulbs need to goto earths, I forgot to put earth symbols on.

If you want to use it as a reverse light wire it through 2 relays in series. First connects to the reverse light circuit and the second through the park light circuit. This way the light will only come on when in reverse and with the park lights on. During the day the light will not come on and annoy other motorists.
I did this on my previous vehicle and also put in a third relay for a manual over-ride so it can be used as a work light/camping light.

Just one question though... if my work lamp is a fairly high power LED one that claims (yet to verify) a 1.2 amp draw, are relays needed???

I'm looking at wiring this in totally separate to the reversing lights.
